The StationMaster program for download comprises five zipped files - disk1.zip, disk2.zip, disk3.zip, disk4.zip & disk5.zip. You will need to download each of these files separately, and then unzip them onto individual floppies labelled disk 1 - 5.

Please note the following:

Installation
NB Please ensure that no other programmes are running in Windows before attempting to install StationMaster - this applies particularly to the MS Office Toolbar and all anti-virus prgrammes.

The software installs initially in demonstration mode which offers full functionality but only allows the user to enter up to 100 QSOs. If you import an existing log with more than 100 QSOs into StationMaster, you will be able to explore all of the programme’s features but not add any further QSOs.

Setting Up
Click on the StationMaster icon to start the programme. When the StationMaster screen is established, carry out the following preliminary tasks in order:

• From the File Menu select Setup. Enter the details for your TNC and DX Cluster, Radio (if fitted with CAT), your choice of ports for voice/CW keyers, CDROM callbook and preferred back-up utility. NB - remember to Apply your choices.

• From the File Menu select New Log and name your log accordingly.

• From the Preferences Menu select Station and enter your personal station data. Then select Log Entry, Grid Layout and Field Sources as required, remembering to Apply your choices to each screen.
