NB Please check that your stnmst.ini file contains the following line in the section marked
[Main] : Band4=30,10.1,10.100,10.150 If not, use a text editor (e.g. Notepad or DOS Edit) to make the necessary change to the backup version of the file. This will cure the problem of 10m and 10MHz QSOs possibly being confused in earlier versions.
After re-installation (and licensing if you are a registered user) copy your backup files into the STNMST folder before running StationMaster. Confirm that you wish to overwrite the stnmst.ini file when asked.
When the programme loads, ignore any error messages concerning your old log file. Create a new log (using File) e.g.' yourcall' and then import (using Tools) your old log into the new one. This procedure is essential in order to preserve your award/DXCC tracking. Finally, call up the Setup option from the File menu and check the settings for TNC, DX Cluster, rig control, CDROM callbook and back-up utility.
Completely remove the STNMST folder from your hard disk and install version 1.20.
Please now follow the instructions below to download and install the patch to bring you up to version 1.22.
